Linda R. Borghi

Linda Rose Borghi, age 79, of Leonia, NJ, died Sunday, January 5, 2025 at her home.  Linda was born December 19, 1945, in Jersey City, NJ.  She was a daughter of the late Guido and Loretta Monti (née O’Brien).  Linda was a proud alumna of Holy Rosary Academy in Union City, Douglass College of Rutgers University (BA), and Jersey City State College (MA).  After graduating college and prior to starting a family Linda was a teacher in the Union City Public Schools, a role to which she returned once her children had grown.

Linda is survived by her husband of 55 years, Robert, children Eric (Ryu Cipris) and Jennifer (Fulvio Frigerio), as well as sister Maureen Spadora.  She will also be greatly missed by her five nieces and nephews, her nine grand-nieces and grand-nephews, and a host of friends and other relatives.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00am on Friday, January 10, at Saint John the Evangelist R.C. Church, Broad Avenue and Harrison Street, Leonia, NJ.  Interment at Holy Name Cemetery, Jersey City, will take place on Friday, January 10, at 12:45pm.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 9, from 3:00pm to 7:00pm at Frank A. Patti & Kenneth Mikatarian Funeral Home, 327 Main Street, Fort Lee, NJ.
