Louis Cardinali

Cardinali, Louis age 98, of Fort Lee, joined the angels on December 5, 2018 at his home of nearly 70 years. Devoted husband to Tina for 67 years. Cherished father of Robert and his wife Patti, Luann and her husband Saul, John and daughter-in-law Bridget. Adored “Poppie” to Nicole, Jaclyn, Tanith, Oliver and Emerald. Loving brother to Lil and Liz. Louis’ strong work ethic provided a beautiful life for his family. During his early years, he coached baseball for the Fort Lee Little League. After retiring as a beer distributor, he worked at the Fort Lee Free Public Library for 23 years. Fun times were enjoyed at his country house as well as numerous family vacations. Louis was a charming, handsome, funny, loveable man with a playful spirit. There wasn’t anything he couldn’t do. He was our “handy” man, Italian chef, gardener, decorator, confidante and best friend. He was a doting caregiver to his wife, the best father a son or daughter could ask for and a “Poppie” who his grandchildren were crazy about. Louis was our world and we will miss him and love him forever. The family will receive their friends on Monday 9:00 – 11:00 AM at the Frank A.
