Louis J Entrup Sr.

Entrup, Sr., Louis, J., age 91, of Manalapan, on Friday May 24, 2024. Born in Jersey City, NJ on March 25, 1933 to the late Louis G. and Alice (nee: Najarian) Entrup. He was a deli owner of Lou’s Food Market in Union City.  “Big Lou” proudly served his country as a corpsman in the Navy during the Korean War.  Beloved husband of the late Margaret (nee: Mirakian) Entrup, who was with him until the end as they passed together. Loving father to Dr. Michael, Stephanie and her partner Joe, and Louis and his wife Jay. Cherished grandfather to Daniel, Justin, Elizabeth, Emily, Hannah, Olivia, and Jessica. Cherished great grandfather to Mason, Ava, and Julia.  Devoted brother to Carol and brother-in-law to Helen and the late Charles Mesropian and Michael and Barbara Mirakian.  “Uncle Louie” to many, many cousins on both the Najarian and Mirakian sides of the family.

The family respectfully requests No Flowers and that donations be made to Sts. Vartanantz Armenian Apostolic Church in Ridgefield, NJ.

All are asked to assemble for the celebration of his funeral mass in St. Stepanos Armenian Apostolic Church of Elberon in Long Branch, NJ at 12:00 PM on Thursday, May 30th.  Family visitation will be from 11:00 to 12:00 at St. Stepanos.  Interment to follow at the Brig.
