Maddalena Hendl

On Tuesday, November 2, 2021, Maddalena (Lena) Hendl (nee; Nappi) passed away at the age of 100.

Maddalena was born on May 24, 1921 in San Chirico Raparo, Italy. She came to the United States in 1938, and settled in North Bergen, and later Fort Lee.

Maddalena is predeceased by her husband, Emil Hendl (2001), her father, Ralph Nappi, and her mother, Rose Nappi.

She was partner in Mary Lane Novelty Company from 1952-1972.

She is survived by her sister, Mary Caputo, her niece, Marisa Karwacki and her husband Tom Karwacki, and her nephew Joseph R. Caputo and his wife Fay Caputo. She is also survived by her great nephew, Dr. Michael Karwacki, and her great nieces, Stephanie Ricciardi, Giada Caputo and Nicholeta Caputo.
