Cubeiro, Manuela, nee: Martinez Mendez, age 85, of Fort Lee, on Thursday December 29, 2016. Born in La Coru?a, Spain and immigrated to the United States in 1952. She was a Lab Assistant for Columbia Presbyterian Medical Center. A "social butterfly" who loved to travel, sew, cook and spoil her grandchildren. Beloved wife of the Late Benito Cubeiro. Devoted mother of Josefa Ramirez and Benito Cubeiro. Adored mother-in-law of Manuel Ramirez and Pilar Cubeiro. Cherished grandmother of Jennifer Marie, Manuel Christopher, Jose Manuel, Noelia Marie, Benito Alonso and Julian. Adored great grandmother of Christopher and Gabriela. Dear sister of Pilar Couceiro and Antonio Martinez and late brothers Jose and Juan Martinez. The family will receive their friends on Tuesday 3:00 -7:00 PM at the Frank A. Patti and Kenneth Mikatarian Funeral Home 327 Main Street "opposite the Fort Lee Library". The funeral will leave Wednesday at 10:30 am for the celebration of her funeral mass in Madonna R.C. Church On The Hill at 11:00 AM. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Parkinson's Association.
