Maria Pate

Maria Pate. Beloved daughter, wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.

Maria’s life was testament to loving family, cooking, and her faith. She always did for everyone, and never expected anything in return. She was born and raised in Belmonde (Mandia), Calabria, Italy on March 22nd, 1931. She migrated to New York City. USA in 1951 bringing with her, the warmth and traditions of her Italian heritage. They raised their children in Fort Lee, New Jersey and then relocated to Hollywood, Florida in 1973 were she created a loving home filled with the rich aromas of homemade Italian food. Her recipes were passed down through generations, treasured by all who had the pleasure of tasting them. They were proprietors of Nevada Beach Apartments for 43 years.

Predeceased by her parents Antonio and Rosa Magnone, and by her husband Alfredo Pate. Devoted mother survived by her daughter Roseann and husband Thomas Eboli, her son Leo Pate and his wife Susan, and her youngest son Vincent; grandchildren Pasquale Eboli and his wife Roseann, Danielle and her husband Eugene Peron, Alexandria and her husband Peter Hausch, Stephanie and her husband Chris Eisele, Chelsea and Taylor Pate; great-grandchildren, Thomas, Nicolas, Joseph, Ryan, Penelope, Nicholas, Leo, Olivia, and Isabel.

The family will receive their friends on Wednesday July 31^st from 9:00 – 10:30 AM     at the Frank A. Patti and Kenneth Mikatarian Funeral Home 327 Main Street “opposite the Fort Lee Library”.  The funeral will leave Wednesday at  10:30 AM  for the celebration of her funeral mass in Madonna  R.C.
