Marie L. Mattessich

Marie L. Mattessich, age 76 of Fort Lee, New Jersey passed away on Tuesday December 21, 2021 surrounded by her loving family. Born in Susak, Croatia she emigrated to the US in 1951 with her family. She is predeceased by her parents, John and Nicolina Mattessich. Her surviving family includes her two children, Richard Morin and his wife Laura, her daughter Christine Schwartz and three grandchildren, Alexis, Rachel and Nicholas. She is also survived by her two sisters, Domenica Tarabocchia and her husband John, Frances Mattessich and her late husband Matthew along with six nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends on Sunday, December 26, 2021 from 4-7 PM at the Frank A. Patti and Kenneth Mikatarian Funeral Home located at 327 Main Street (opposite the Fort Lee Library) in Fort Lee, NJ. The funeral will begin at the funeral home on Monday December 27, at 10 AM followed by a mass to celebrate her life at St. Nicholas R.C. Church in Palisades Park at 11 AM.
