Marilyn Merletto

Merletto, Marilyn, age 96, of Fort Lee, passed away peacefully on Monday, May 20, 2024.  Devoted wife to the late Philip Merletto.

Loving mother of Patricia Ciccone and her husband Robert, Janet LaRusso and her husband John, and Phyllis Tarantino and her husband Carl. Cherished grandmother to Brian Ciccone and his wife Lynn; Danielle Ciccone and Peter Krieger; Michael Tarantino and his wife Sierra; John LaRusso and his wife AnnMarie, Vanessa Marcantuono and her husband Anthony; Philip LaRusso, Matthew Tarantino, and Emily Tarantino. Proud great-grandmother to Ava and Xander Ciccone; Antonia, Giavanna, and Sophia Marcantuono, and Gianni and Gemma LaRusso.

Marilyn was born and raised in West New York, NJ. until she married Philip and moved to Fort Lee, NJ, where she resided until her passing. She was a devout Catholic and parishioner of Church of the Madonna since 1963. She was a bookkeeper at the Book of the Month Club and the Fort Lee Public Library.

Her life was devoted to her family. She enjoyed gardening, observing nature, crocheting, embroidering, knitting, and creating treasured gifts for family and friends.

A funeral mass will be held on Friday, May 24, at the Church of the Madonna, at 11:00 AM. A private burial will take place following the funeral mass.
