Mary Ann Kramer (née Koster) age 77 was born in Hoboken, NJ. Her childhood was spent in Hoboken where she attended St.Francis primary school and Sacred Heart Academy High School. She then worked for J.P. Morgan & Company in New York. Mary Ann married Kenneth Kramer of New York and left her position at Morgan to raise her son Kenneth and then her second son Christopher. Some years later she went back to the business world as the Office Manager for the dental practice of Dr. Bernard Apflebaum, followed by Dr. Edward Hobbs and finally for Dr. Bonnie Berman. After over 30 years in the practice she retired in 2012 and enjoyed traveling with her husband throughout the US, Caribbean and Europe. She spent nearly 50 years living in Leonia and was an avid reader and supporter of the local library. Mary Ann also loved her summers at the Leonia pool with family and friends.

Mary Ann is predeceased by her two brothers Vincent and John Barbo. She was a devoted wife of 55 years to Kenneth and mother to Kenneth and Christopher, mother in law to Christopher’s wife Cindy, and loving Nana to granddaughters Colvin and Marley. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.

The Family will receive their friends and family for a celebration of Mary Ann’s life on Tuesday April 26th from 4-8pm. Guests will be invited to share their memories of Mary Ann starting at 7pm at the Frank A. Patti and Kenneth Mikatarian Funeral Home at 327 Main Street (opposite the Fort Lee Library).
