Mary R Delli Bovi

Delli Bovi, Mary R., nee: Salvemini, age 96 of Leonia on Thursday November 28, 2024.  Born in Hoboken, she was a parishioner of Saint John’s Church of Leonia, Beloved wife of Patrick F. Sciarra until his passing in 1972 and then in 1980 became the beloved wife of Anthony Delli Bovi until his passing in 2018.  Devoted mother to the late Donna Andretta and her husband John.  Deborah Sciarra and Patrick Sciarra and his wife Connie, Cherished grandmother to Patrick Soriano, John Patrick Andretta and her late granddaughter Stephanie Andretta.

Mary loved to dance, play cards and dominos.  She also loved to dress up no matter where she went.   She loved to cook big dinners and was happiest when family and friends were over.   She touched all who knew her and will be deeply missed.

The family will receive their friends on Wednesday 3 PM to 7 PM at the Frank A. Patti and Kenneth Mikatarian Funeral Home 327 Main Street “opposite the Fort Lee Library”.  The funeral will leave Thursday at 10:30 AM for the celebration of her funeral mass in Saint John the Evangelist Church in Leonia at 11 A.M.   In lieu of flowers donations in Mary’s memory may be made to Villa Marie Claire in Saddle River, New Jersey.   For condolences, directions or information call (201)944-0100 or www.frankpatti.com
