Mary Valavanis

Mary Valavanis of Uniondale NY. Celebrated her 100th birthday on July 21, 2018. She was born in Lancaster, Pennsylvania to Mercina and Paraskivas Valavanis. She was also predeceased by her brother George Valavanis. Mary was always a gentle, sweet and caring soul who loved her family. She is survived by 3 nieces Mercina (Tommy), Maria (Steve) and Sophia (Tony), and her nephew Peter (Susan). Her funeral service is Thursday November 1, 2018 at the Greek Orthodox Church of St.Nicholas, Wycoff. Interment followed in the family plot in George Washington Memorial Park, Paramus.
