Patricia E Zaccone

Patricia E. Zaccone, age 90, a lifelong resident of Palisades Park, passed peacefully surrounded by family on March 24, 2024.   She was a gym teacher  and a coach who worked her entire career for Dover Township Board of Education.   She was a lover of sports, who played all sports and particularly loved Women’s Basketball.  She loved life and loved her family.

Beloved partner of 40 years to the late Oleta Ann Summers.   Devoted daughter of the late Nick and Betty Zaccone.  Cherished sister of  Elaine Santaite and Geraldine Landoline.  Adored aunt of Debbie Federico, Wendy Vanore, Fred Santaite, Elaine Klein, Paulie Landoline, Jamie Kostenko and Marisa Landoline.  Loving “Auntie Pat” of 18 great nieces and nephews.   Adored by 17 great-great nieces and nephews.  She loved her family with all of her heart and devoted her life to them.  They are her legacy.  Her family will always cherish her memory and her zest for life.

The family will receive their friends on Tuesday from 3-7 pm at the Frank Patti and  Kenneth Mikatarian Funeral Home 327 Main Street Fort Lee.  The funeral will leave Wednesday at 9:30 am for the celebration of her funeral mass in St. Michael’s RC Church at 10 am.  For further information call (201) 944-0100
