Pauline Mathews

Mathews, Pauline, (nee:Luongo), age 88, of Dumont, passed on Saturday November 21, 2020. Pauline was an incredibly strong woman who loved to sew, bake, volunteer her time as a class mom, caretaker and a coach. A dedicated grandmother who loved watching her grandchildren. She was well known by all in her community and loved by all who knew her.

Beloved wife of the late Leroy Mathews. Devoted mother of Mary and Marty Tendler, Teri Mathews, Patty and Raymond Cardona, Kelly and Rob Madera, Michael Mathews, Anthony and Bibi Mathews, the Late Elizabeth “Bizzy” Barci and her husband Mark, and the late Christina Morea and her husband Joseph. Cherished grandmother of 16 grandchildren. Adored great grandmother of 13. Dear sister of Albert, Peter and Alex Luongo, Rosemary Hackett and the late Cecille Peppin.
