Robert G. Quinn

Quinn, Robert, G. age 66, of Leonia, passed away on Monday June 15, 2020. Bob was born in Bronx, NY and graduated Leonia High School and went on to earn a BS degree at Montclair State College in Community Recreation. Following his graduation, he worked in various capacities in the recreation field and spent many years as a community Recreation Director both in Leonia and in Germany as a civilian working with the military and their families on base. Later, he worked as a Teacher, Basketball Coach and Athletic Director for the Leonia School District. His last position, prior to his retirement, was at The Mental Health Association of Morris County where he worked with homeless and mentally ill population to reduce stigma and improve their ability to achieve a higher quality of life.

Devoted son of the late Robert J. and Ruth Quinn. Cherished brother of Tom Quinn, Christine Hopkins and Kathleen Stendor, supportive and loving Uncle to Erin Melendez, Ryan Quinn, Conner Hopkins, Dan Quinn, Jamie Quinn, Molly Hopkins and Nolan Stendor.

Private family services will be held.
