Satya D. Mohin

Satya Dev Mohin was born on March 23, 1933 in Punjab, India. One of 6 siblings, he was a devoted son, father, brother and grandfather. He married his devoted wife, Sarish, in 1962 and they emigrated to New York City in 1971 where he began his career as the VP of logistics for a toy company. In 2012 he moved to New York life Insurance, where the love of his phone calls started (he always had a soft spot for telemarketers).

Satya worked hard and graciously to bring his family to the United States. His two beautiful daughters, Nidhi Lal and Rachna Malhotra, blessed him with two son-in-laws, Pankaj Lal and Pawan Malhotra and six grandchildren, Kunal, Kanika, Suhina, Riya, Milan and Aurian. Satya Mohin will be remembered by everyone for his selfless generosity, his purity, undying faith in God, dedication to family, contagious smile, and youthful soul. The same soul we all will continue to pray for. He deserves to be at peace now, reunited with his parents and siblings.

Satya Mohin left us with only the best memories and sweetest gifts. May his life continue to be honored by our good deeds in this world, the same deeds that have kept our family and friends strong and together. We will miss him dearly and will never forget his spirit.
