Soo Ye Kim

Soo Ye Kim (née Park), 89, of Palisades Park, passed away on January 21, 2023. Born in Nagoya, Japan , on July 19, 1933, she was married to Soo Bong Kim in 1952. She is survived by three of her children, Betty Park (née Kim), Andy and Kenny Kim, son-in-law, Yong S. Park, daughters-in-law, Kyung Ja, Mi Young and Helen, grandchildren, Ian, Jane, Una, Jenny, Jennifer, Paul, and five great-grandchildren. She was the heart of the family, always embracing people with warmth, delicious food and a delighted laugh. She had the soul of an artist and created beauty in everything she did from making coffee to doing her hair and makeup in preparation for the day or filling volumes of pages with beautifully colored artwork. Her love remains but her presence will be greatly missed.
