Born in Kharsar, India she earned her degrees in Nursing at the University of Colorado and Delhi University. Beloved wife of Arvind H. Desai. Devoted mother of Hemen, Deepa and Mihir, and mother-in-law of Alka, Sumit and Teena. Cherished grandmother of Monica, Avni, Arjun, Nitya, Mia, Ila, and Parvati. Dear sister of late sisters Sudha and Jyoti. Loving member of the GTK and Pankaj families. The family will receive their friends on Thursday 11:00 – 11:30 am at the Frank A. Patti and Kenneth Mikatarian Funeral Home 327 Main Street "opposite the Fort Lee Library". Religious service 11:30 am. A private cremation will be held.
