Thomas Peter Archontou

Archontou, Thomas Peter, age 89, of Fort Lee, on Monday, November 7, 2016. Beloved husband of Julia Archontou; loving father of Faye Gemmellaro and Helen Archontou and their husbands Anthony Gemmellaro and Thomas Papadatos; cherished grandfather to Carly, Steven, and Julia; adored brother to the late Meletia Korizis. Thomas was born in Athens, Greece, and built a career as a Merchant Marine Radio Electronics Officer. The family will receive their friends on Wednesday 4–8 PM at the Frank A. Patti and Kenneth Mikatarian Funeral Home, 327 Main Street, “opposite the Fort Lee Library.” All are asked to assemble on Thursday at The Greek Orthodox Cathedral of St. John the Theologian in Tenafly at 9:30 AM.
