Vincent Tirone

Vincent Ralph John Tirone, passed away suddenly on Sunday, February 18th in his Fort Lee Home. Vinny as he was known to by his friends and family was born in Hoboken NJ and moved to Fort Lee where he was a long time resident. He leaves his only daughter Victoria Seline who he loved and adored. He also leaves behind his sister in law Lynne DeSantis and his nieces Nicole Simons, Lenore DeSantis , Toni Ann DeSantis , Allison DeSantis-Amin; and Laura Sporpelli. Vinny was predeceased by his father Philip Tirone his mother Elenor DeSantis Tirone, his brothers Philip Tirone and Anthony DeSantis. Mr. Tirone is an alumnus of Bergen Catholic High School in Oradell, NJ where he also excelled at sports being the captain of his football team. After working at Hiram’s a popular gathering place in Fort Lee, he became a stagehand for local one. A die hard Yankees fan and Italian food conesour he enjoyed spending time frequenting local Italian delis and could always be found at St. Rocco’s Feast in Fort Lee and San Genero Festival in NYC. Visitation will be held Friday, February 23rd from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. at the Frank A. Patti & Kenneth Mikatarian Funeral Home, 327 Main Street, Fort Lee, N.J. Funeral will be on Saturday at 10:30 a.m. at Madonna Cemetery & Mausoleum, 2070 Hoefley’s Lane, Fort Lee, NJ 07024.
