For many years Lisa and I worked together in the operating room at Manhattan, Eye, and Throat Hospital. Although I haven’t seen her in many years, I have fond memories of her as a true professional and great friend. I am extremely heartbroken and saddened; however, I will always treasure her friendship and beautiful smile. My sincere condolences to the Flick family-Lisa will indeed be missed. Spiritual Epiphany I believe we all have had a similar experience with someone one way or another in our lives. As a young man not knowing what direction I would take, and being a caregiver, I always loved healthcare. At that time, my childhood best friend was in home hospice, terminally ill. The visiting nurse was so informative and kind. I bonded with her, and later she became a mentor to me, inspiring me to work toward a nursing career. She helped launch me into an effort to go back to school, and eventually I landed in surgery services. As it turned out, she was Lisa’s mom Alma. Later Lisa became my professional and personal treasured friend. The importance of this journey is the love we share with each other, as it nourishes the essence of our existence. My deepest condolences to Lisa’s family. Lisa hired me at MEETH in 2017, my first job in NYC. She was genuinely concerned for the well being of her staff. Always willing to help, always cheerful, and for the first few weeks she always asked me everyday “everything okay?” She was so knowledgeable and generous with her wisdom. She will be dearly missed ♥️ Rest In Peace Lisa. Felicia
